Dear drone pilots
From 1 September 2023, anyone who wants to continue flying a drone in Swiss airspace will need a corresponding FOCA licence or must at least register as a pilot*.
A good training opportunity for the online test at the FOCA (UAS.gate) is the free course on our website.
The questionnaire has been adapted to the current questions of the FOCA and is constantly being expanded.
* For drones under 250g take-off weight, you only need to register as a pilot with the Federal Office of Civil Aviation (no test necessary). You can also do this via UAS.gate.
